Creating Art Outdoors (Berkshire Plein Air)

June 15 - September 15

Invite others to paint and photograph with you.  Volunteers needed:  Please sign-up for 4 to 6 times from June 15 - September 15 to greet and guide artists. Start at 9:20 and stay until 1:00 including a chance to watch and learn from others, create art, have lunch and share what each has learned.  Opportunities are available 7 days a week.



Pittsfield: Hancock Shaker Village. Meet at picnic tables.

Great Barrington: Downtown, Riverwalk,

Bard College at Simon’s Rock



Stockbridge: Berkshire Botanical Garden,

town center and other Stockbridge locations



Lenox: The Mount. Meet in lower

parking lot by 9:30.



Lenox: Lilac Park, Library Park, Eastover: Sign in at Mansion and other Lenox locations



West Stockbridge, meet at parking lot across from Post Office. TurnPark, Shaker Mill


Stockbridge: Norman Rockwell

Museum grounds.


Nonmembers, $50 for the season plus entry fees.

See a demo, watch other artists, work till noon, then join us for lunch followed by a positive critique for helpful suggestions.

Bring your supplies & lunch.

We recommend a NARM level membership.
